Hailing from Barcelona’s underground scene, Darkways pushes its darkwave toward tense, minimal gothic rock, where every element counts. On stage, the programmed rhythm drives forward with purpose, the bass lays down thick lines, the synths establish a cold haze, and reverberant guitars slice through the space. The vocals, measured and unpretentious, sit within structured, effective songs that favour tension over grandstanding. Between ’80s references and more contemporary angles, the band cultivates a nocturnal, precise aesthetic designed as much for dancing as for listening, with slow builds, abrupt breaks and an unrelenting pulse.

On 10 April 2026 at Le Molotov in Marseille, Darkways presents this tight live set, joined by a guest.
