Goose land in Toronto for a summer stop built on long-form grooves and sharp melodies. Born in the Connecticut indie scene, the band — Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (keys, guitar, vocals), Trevor Weekz (bass) and Cotter Ellis (drums) — has shaped a live identity where songs open onto extended improvisations, clear guitars and enveloping keys riding dense rhythms. From Moon Cabin through Dripfield and their recent releases, their catalog feeds sets that move between psych-tinged pop and jam-driven momentum, with room for detours and slow-burn builds tailored for the stage.
Sharing the bill, guitarist Julian Lage brings a different grain of lyricism, steeped in jazz language and American roots. Heard in trios and intimate duos, his playing threads melody with open-ended interplay, a fit for a night that leans on interaction and nuance.
Goose Summer 2026 touches down on June 13, 2026 at RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto. Rain or shine. Goose will donate $1 from every ticket sold to Western Sun Foundation, a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides financial support to small and mid-sized community organizations.
