Seedhe Maut celebrates a decade of work with a tour stop at The Opera House, 735 Queen Street East, Toronto, on June 7, 2026. Formed in New Delhi by MCs Encore ABJ (Abhijay Negi) and Calm (Siddhant Sharma), the duo has built a body of rap in Hindi and Urdu that blends tight flows, narrative writing and slices of urban life. Emerging from mid-2010s open mics and the independent circuit under the Azadi Records banner, they have multiplied releases and collaborations with producers from India’s new wave. Their album Bayaan (2018) marked a turning point, followed by Nayaab (2022), where themes of ambition, social pressure and economic reality take center stage.

On stage, Seedhe Maut plays the contrast between voices and pen games: rapid exchanges, measured pauses, and hooks that open their sound to a wider palette. For this 10-year set, expect a tour through their catalog, from early cypher energy to more reflective pieces, stitched together with the duo’s back-and-forth dynamics. Legal age 19+.
