Sellig « Épisode 6 »

Sellig presents Episode 6, his new show, at the Théâtre le Rhône in Bourg-lès-Valence on 20 November 2026. True to his keen eye for observation, the comedian further explores everyday life by dissecting those small scenes that seem innocuous but turn out to be trickier than they appear. He recounts his not-always-gentle apprenticeship in the kitchen, and that notorious “fifty‑three‑ish” phase that doesn’t slide by as easily as simply being fifty.

Also onstage is his gallery of close relations, including the sister who has become a cult figure and Bernard, the brother‑in‑law, in an old‑fashioned Christmas that puts everything back to square one. Precise writing, clear pacing, family portraits and self‑deprecation are at the heart of this sixth chapter, continuing the line of his numbered shows.

Originally from Lyon, Sellig has created a world where humor is rooted in reality without artifice. Episode 6 continues this path with a sharp look at our foibles, between concrete situations, controlled missteps and details that hit the mark. An evening in which we recognise our habits, our little quirks and those moments that tip over, told with the direct simplicity that is his trademark.
