Oh Putain Laurent !

Laurent Baffie returns to the stage with Oh Putain Laurent!, a one-man show in which he lays out his life from venue to venue — from the Ardisson years to the TV backstage, including those too blunt jokes that never made the final cut. Faithful to his quick-fire repartee, he blends improvisation, anecdotes and a taste for contrarianism, with intentional detours into sexuality, zoology and all the subjects that fuel his direct writing. On stage, Baffie also revives sketches that are now unbroadcastable on TV and plays with the persistent notion that nothing can be said anymore, testing that idea’s limits in real time with the audience. Behind the controlled provocation is the writer and director who came up through radio, Nulle Part Ailleurs, hidden-camera pranks and Les Grosses Têtes, and who knows how to turn memories and punchlines into living material.
