CTRL+DRIFT is a music collective that navigates between mastery and letting go, and will be taking over the Contre Soirée at Le Mazette on Friday, February 6, from 11 PM to 3 AM.
They play on the tension between control—precision of mixes, choice of textures—and drift—improvisation, sonic accidents. Their sets weave together rap, bass music, techengue, Afro-Caribbean rhythms and street sounds.
Each performance is a shifting ground where styles intertwine and transform.
The club becomes a space to feel, to listen, and to move differently.
Their sounds come from corners, clubs, streets—where rhythm says what words keep silent.
