Against The Current

Against The Current celebrate their 15th anniversary with a stop at La Maroquinerie on March 15, 2026. Born in Poughkeepsie in the early 2010s, the trio first made a name for themselves online before establishing themselves on the pop rock and pop punk circuits. Fronted by Chrissy Costanza’s lead vocals, with Dan Gow on guitar and Will Ferri on drums, the band’s music blends earworm choruses, edgy guitars and electronic touches. From the EPs Infinity and Gravity to their debut album In Our Bones, and then Past Lives, the band shifted the needle from rock toward more pop-oriented songwriting without losing momentum. They are also responsible for “Legends Never Die,” written for the League of Legends World Championship, which broadened their audience well beyond rock venues. With the EP Fever, released in 2021, Against The Current sharpened their sound and tightened the formats, designed for live performance. In Paris, this anniversary date brings together fifteen years of songs, from seminal tracks to recent releases, in the direct atmosphere of an intimate venue.
