On April 30, 2026, Le Ferrailleur in Nantes will host a co-billed plugg/DMV show led by 8ruki and Rowjay, presented under the Tamisée banner. Paris meets Montreal around a shared taste for supple rhythms and rolling basslines, spanning trap, cloud and plug sonics.
8ruki, a prominent figure of the French SoundCloud scene, delivers a taut, melodic rap—autotune used with control and airy productions. He moves between plugg and DMV with compact tracks and direct writing, crafted for live performance. Opposite him, Rowjay, a Montreal rapper, brings francophone trap steeped in internet and North American references. He alternates between French and English, riding sparse instrumentals—slow or mid-tempo—centered on bass and crystalline synths, unfolding a style that naturally links Quebec and France.
Oki Kuhu opens and extends the evening with a DJ set designed to set the mood before the live acts and keep it going afterward, ensuring the room stays in motion from start to finish.
