Info
A heart beating beneath this beardless body: in Machine, Samuel Bambi unfolds a stand-up in which he bares himself without pathos. An actor and comedian trained on café-theatre stages and having passed through the Jamel Comedy Club, he retains the energy of his early days: when everything rocks, he keeps playing, like the Titanic’s orchestra. Self-deprecation, observations of everyday life, cultural dissonances and characters intersect to tell the anxieties, the pride and the contradictions of a guy who moves forward, even when it creaks.
On March 14, 2026 at the Théâtre de la Madeleine in Geneva, Samuel Bambi presents his solo Machine. Written with Jonathan Demayo and Benjamin Ifrah and directed by Nicolas Nebot, the show draws a clear line, without frills, carried by a text that goes straight to the point. Between self-image, masculinity and the need to exist, Bambi probes what’s wrong and what holds, with a comic mechanism that draws on the real.
