German producer and live performer Christian Löffler brings his Until We Meet Again Tour – North America 2026 to Commonwealth in Calgary on March 20, 2026. Based on the Baltic coast near Greifswald, he shapes a contemplative blend of melodic deep house, minimal techno and ambient, built on restrained rhythms, misty pads and looping melodic figures. A cofounder of Ki Records, he first surfaced with a run of EPs before defining his voice on the album A Forest, then Mare, conceived in dialogue with the northern German coastline. Subsequent releases like Graal (Prologue) and Lys pushed toward more narrative structures and guest vocals, skirting the line between electronica and slow pop. With Parallels: Shellac Reworks on Deutsche Grammophon, he opened a conversation with archival classical recordings, folding acoustic textures and simple harmonies into his palette.
On stage, Löffler assembles these elements into immersive live sets that evolve patiently, balancing pulse and melody. The result is an intimate, finely drawn sound world, tailored to a late-night room like Commonwealth, Calgary.
