Marlon Magnée (of La Femme)

Marlon Magnée, cofounder of La Femme, brings his solo project to Théâtre Beanfield in Montréal on 14 September 2026. Since 2010 alongside Sacha Got, he helped shape the band’s identity through albums like Psycho Tropical Berlin and Mystère, moving from studio experiments to tours across borders. In 2025 he opened a new chapter under his own name, where sixties-leaning rock, stripped synthpop and psychobilly accents intersect. On stage, he leads songs he writes and co-produces, also steering visuals and clips, with motorik rhythms, vintage keyboards and incisive guitar lines in the foreground.

The set traces a line between his years with La Femme and a more personal approach, keeping agile structures and clear melodies. Based in Paris, he splits his time between writing, studio work, concerts and collaborations. This Montréal date at Théâtre Beanfield, 2490 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest, brings that trajectory to the stage with a focus on new material and a sound shaped by his own hand.
