David Lee Roth

David Lee Roth takes the stage at OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls on May 22, 2026. Born in Bloomington, Indiana, he first made his mark in the late 1970s as the voice of Van Halen, defining the band’s first studio era up to 1985 with a blend of hard rock, heavy metal and a touch of glam. After parting ways with the group, he launched a solo path with the 1985 EP Crazy from the Heat, reworking pop and soul standards before shifting back to a sharper rock sound on Eat ’Em and Smile (1986) and Skyscraper (1988), alongside Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan and Gregg Bissonette.

The following decade saw him broaden the palette with A Little Ain’t Enough (1991), Your Filthy Little Mouth (1994) and DLR Band (1998), then Diamond Dave (2003), mixing heavy riffs, blues nods, covers and more radio-friendly cuts.
