Chasing Abbey Moved To the Opera House

Chasing Abbey lands at The Opera House in Toronto on March 9, 2026. Formed in Tullamore by three childhood friends, the Irish trio threads hip-hop, pop and electronic dance into sharp, hook-led tracks. Self-produced beginnings and steady Irish radio play put them on the map, with That Good Thing in 2017 marking an early milestone. The Odyssey Project EP followed in 2018, opening a run of singles that refined their balance of melodic vocals and rap flows over direct, percussive productions.

Since the 2020s, Chasing Abbey has been folding fragments of traditional melodies into contemporary, club-focused beats, as heard on Oh My Johnny (Banks of the Roses). The result sits at the crossroads of urban pop, melodic rap and a present-day take on folk codes, with lyrics rooted in everyday life, relationships and the social scenes around them. On stage, that blend shifts naturally between chant-ready hooks and rhythmic drive, built for a crowd that wants movement without losing the song. This is a legal age 19+ event.
