Info

The Maine bring their evolving pop rock to History, 1663 Queen Street East, Toronto, on April 15, 2026, joined by Broadside, Nightly and Grayscale. All ages.

Formed in Tempe in 2007, The Maine — John O’Callaghan, Jared Monaco, Kennedy Brock, Garrett Nickelsen and Pat Kirch — have moved from early emo-pop toward a guitar-led pop rock with alternative shades. From Can’t Stop Won’t Stop to their self-titled 2023 album, they balance direct hooks and reflective writing, keeping a steady thread between bright melodies and a more classic rock feel.

Broadside carry Richmond’s pop-punk DNA into a cleaner, more atmospheric space. After Old Bones and Paradise, the SharpTone releases Into the Raging Sea and Hotel Bleu push toward expansive alternative rock, with a focus on textures and vocal lines.

Nightly add a Nashville alt-pop angle: synths, lucid guitars and immediate melodies shaped since XO and the EP Honest, through the albums night, love you and wear your heart out, where the trio refines a nocturnal, candid pop.

From Philadelphia, Grayscale round out the bill with a path from pop punk to contemporary alt rock across Adornment, Nella Vita and Umbra, keeping songwriting close to the personal and the melodic core intact.
