Info

Excision brings his bass-first vision to Place Bell in Laval on February 22, 2026. Under the name Excision, Canadian producer Jeff Abel has shaped a sound built on low-end pressure, sharp edits and a sci‑fi aesthetic that pushed North American dubstep into heavier territory. Founder of Rottun Recordings and Subsidia Records, he’s mapped out his path through albums from X Rated to Onyx, alongside the live metal-leaning project Destroid with Downlink and KJ Sawka. On stage, that universe translates into tight structures and a focus on impact, drawing from the same ecosystem he nurtures with festivals like Lost Lands and Bass Canyon.

Alongside him, Dutch producer Dion Timmer, first spotted as a teen and quickly taken under Excision’s wing, connects robust drops with bright melodies and future bass touches. His catalog swings between club‑ready instrumentals and vocal-led cuts, with occasional detours into trap and drum and bass. Opening the night, RZRKT, a bass music producer from Texas, sets the tone with a US‑grown approach to the current dubstep and riddim spectrum.
