Ary Abittan returns to the stage with Authentique, a comeback after three years away. At 50, the comedian puts on the table what truly occupies him: fatherhood, love, the fragilities of coupledom, childhood memories and the ways we pick ourselves up when everything gets complicated. He moves from a family anecdote to a portrait, from one character to another, unfolding a personal story that doesn’t shy away from doubts or detours, delivered in a direct, unvarnished voice.

Without mask or affectation, he discusses his hardships, his rebirths and a newfound need for freedom, sustained by a confident sense of rhythm. Authentique is staged on 10 November 2026 at the Théâtre Marigny in Paris. Observations, confidences and characters follow one another, the intimate intersects with the joke, and we rediscover that taste for storytelling that is his hallmark.
