Sixpence None The Richer

On October 7, 2026, Sixpence None the Richer will take over La Marbrerie Montreuil for a concert that puts Leigh Nash’s clear voice and Matt Slocum’s guitars front and center. Formed in 1992 in Texas, the band has long walked a line between indie rock and introspective songs, with a sense of melody that soundtracked many listeners in the ’90s and 2000s.

With six albums and the recent EP Rosemary Hill, Sixpence has produced several signature tracks: "Kiss Me," which reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the top 10 in sixteen countries; their cover of the La’s "There She Goes"; "Breathe Your Name"; and "Don’t Dream It’s Over." Their career includes Grammy nominations, Dove Awards, and honors such as Top Soundtrack Single at the Billboard Music Awards and Top Song at the BMI Pop Awards in 2001.

Reunited in 2024 after a long absence from the stage, the band hit the road again, released the EP Rosemary Hill and its first live album, Live at Gruene Hall. The tour, now extended through 2026, brings back a repertoire that mixes expected classics with new material, driven by Slocum’s songwriting, the band’s harmonies, and Nash’s distinctive vocal signature.
