Toc Toc de Laurent Baffie

On 19 June 2026, Laurent Baffie’s Toc Toc opens at the Théâtre Beaulieu in Nantes. The play places six patients in the waiting room of the renowned neuropsychiatrist Dr. Stern, who keeps them waiting. Each arrives with their own obsessive-compulsive disorder: palilalia, Tourette syndrome, nosophobia, an inability to walk on lines, or other habits that disrupt their daily lives. Stuck together, they eventually talk, size each other up, sometimes clash, then invent games to pass the time, revealing their routines and their attempts to hang on to what slips away from them.

Pascal Maillard directs and leads a cast featuring Mathieu Gaudin, Marie Elie, Sophie Morin, Nelly Pichotbadeaud, Kamal Rawas and Olivier Collin. Laurent Baffie’s text brings together singular paths in a character-driven situational comedy powered by the pace of the exchanges and the group dynamic.
