GANAFOUL

Born in 1974 in a warehouse in Givors, south of Lyon, Ganafoul forged its Sider-Rock amid the factories — a raw rock nourished by the industrial suburb. The band soon shrank from a quintet to a trio with Jack Bon on guitar and vocals, Jean‑Yves Astier on bass and vocals, and Yves Rothacher on drums, who was replaced at the end of 1977 by Bernard Antoine. The turn of the 1980s and the synth wave put the project on hold in 1982. Later, a new lineup coalesced around Édouard Gonzalez (guitar), Yves Rothacher (drums), Jack Bon (guitar, vocals) and Luc Blackstone (bass, vocals). Announced for early 2025, the album “Dangerous Times” marks their return to the studio. On March 20, 2026, at Le Plan in Ris‑Orangis, Ganafoul will return to unfold this long-running story, between direct riffs and uncompromising tempos.

STOCKS

Originally from the North but with a marked taste for southern climes, Stocks made their name with a debut live album recorded in early 1980, followed by two further records in a blues‑rock vein where guitars and lyrics take center stage. Today the band performs as a trio, featuring the bass of Fred Nicolle (The Blues Maker, Trente) and the drums of Fabrice Trovato (Charcoal, Koritni, Trente, Eric McFadden, The Blues Maker). In the direct lineage of the trio spirit cherished by ZZ Top or Rory Gallagher, Stocks relies on concision and energy, driven by a tight rhythm section.
