Sniper

Formed in 1997 in Val-d’Oise, Sniper brought together Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj. With Du rire aux larmes (2001), Gravé dans la roche (2003) and Trait pour trait (2006), the group set benchmarks for French rap, blending committed politics, accounts from the housing projects, social critique and precise lyricism. An identity forged through observation of reality and songs that resonated far beyond their home neighborhood.

In 2026, Aketo and Tunisiano revive the project as a duo. See them on 4 December 2026 at La Carrière Saint-Herblain for a set that rekindles the classics and unveils new material. It is a deliberate return to their roots: to reaffirm an engaged voice, to prioritize respect and authenticity, and to let the lyrics speak. Iconic tracks will intersect with unreleased songs, delivered by a more mature duo, freed from past tensions and focused on the stage energy and the complementarity that shaped Sniper’s trajectory.
