Arnaud Tsamere « Tous contraints »

French comedian Arnaud Tsamere returns to the stage with All Compelled, presented at the Splendid Saint-Quentin on 19 March 2027. After two weddings and a funeral, a striking detour into Cyrano de Bergerac and the escapade with the Trio, he thought he could catch his breath. A clause he signed with his producer, Jérémy Ferrari, decided otherwise: a new solo show was mandatory for 2026/2027, with a penalty of €27.2 million announced in the event of breach. Forgotten then rediscovered, the clause becomes the starting point of the show.

Tsamere turns it into a playground: how do you get back on stage when you hadn’t planned to? He dissects the contractual trap, procrastination, flip-flopping and the little compromises we make with ourselves, drawing on his self-deprecating humour and absurd detours. All Compelled is the story of a comeback orchestrated under pressure, in which the artist transforms constraint into comic material and lays bare his doubts in order to catch them on the fly. Like him and like us, he moves forward with this through-line: we’re all constrained, so we might as well laugh.
