Thaïs « Fille de joie »

On March 26, 2026 at the Théâtre du Gymnase - Marie Bell in Paris, Thaïs presents Fille de joie, a one-woman show drawn from that minefield we call family. Rather than talk about it with her therapist, the comedian puts everything on stage: at 33, single, childless, a freelance performer, red-haired, allergic and prone to impulse phobias, she turns her anxieties and quirks into storytelling material. We meet a vegan cousin, a father in the midst of a revelation, a very open-minded mother, and those secrets that always surface at the worst possible moment, often around a table. Thaïs moves between social awkwardness, angioedema and eczema, composing a gallery of relatives one recognizes effortlessly. Fille de joie speaks of joy and embarrassment, the wish to keep the party at arm’s length while still staying in it, and the need to name what itches.
