On March 13, 2026, La Cordo in Romans-sur-Isère will host Emile Londonien. A figure of contemporary jazz that flirts with the club scene, the group forges links between broken beat, house, R&B and electronic soundscapes. On stage they blend supple grooves, melodic lines and improvisation, with a live energy that shifts the boundaries of the genre.
As the opening act, the duo Alpha Cassiopeiae presents a soaring, percussive electronic jazz in which synths and rhythms converse with more acoustic motifs — a well-balanced lift-off to kick off the evening.
The night will continue with the closing party from Astels, a French duo at the crossroads of pop, electro-funk and R&B. Their set is designed to steer the concert toward dancing and to close the night gently.
Possible reference points: GoGo Penguin, Snarky Puppy, the intersections between clubbing and improvisation, and the spirit of London’s jazz-electro nights.
