Sellig « Épisode 6 »

Sellig returns with Episode 6, a show written and directed by himself. He tackles everyday life, dissecting its foibles, small daily hassles and absurd codes with a keen sense of observation. His sister, a recurring presence, and Bernard, the brother-in-law, reappear—two characters who open the door on a family that’s not so tranquil. Through a series of scenes and short stories, he transforms seemingly mundane situations—shopping, commutes, neighbors, paperwork—into a precise comic machinery where every detail can tip normality.

Clear writing, a direct pace, and well-drawn characters. Episode 6 follows a simple thread: looking at life from the side and extracting scenes from reality, measured in annoyances, irritations and missteps. We recognize our tics and little habits there—those that cling to our days and eventually make us smile. Sellig’s “Episode 6” is showing on December 12, 2026 at La Commanderie Dole.
