On 3 July 2026, as part of the Jazz à Vienne 2026 festival, the Théâtre Antique de Vienne brings together two complementary stages: Cerrone Disco Symphonic and Kyoto Jazz Massive. A French pioneer of disco, Cerrone revisits his repertoire with a symphonic setup tailored to his rhythms and bass lines. Drums at the forefront, strings and brass echoing, he performs classics such as "Love in C Minor", "Supernature" and "Give Me Love" in arrangements that amplify the pulse while letting the melodies that define his signature breathe.
Kyoto Jazz Massive arrives from Tokyo with their blend of nu-jazz and broken beat. The duo, known for productions and DJ selections where swing meets house, mixes warm keyboards, crisp percussion and jazz harmonies. Between instrumental journeys, syncopated patterns and soulful textures, their set moves between club energy and attentive listening, always in the service of the groove. It is a meeting between disco heritage and today’s hybrid scenes, enhanced by the acoustics of the Théâtre Antique de Vienne.
