Info

As part of the Jazz à Vienne 2026 Festival, Beirut and Vincent Peirani will share the stage at the Théâtre Antique in Vienne on July 2, 2026. A meeting of indie folk and contemporary jazz for an open‑air set.

Beirut, a project initiated by Zach Condon, blends intimate folk, brass and Balkan influences. Trumpet, ukulele, accordion and keyboards weave songs with melodic contours, between distant journeys and personal chronicles. From the early tracks on Gulag Orkestar to more recent compositions, the group unfolds spare arrangements, carried by a recognizable voice and brass lines that establish a singular atmosphere.

An accordionist, composer and arranger, Vincent Peirani cultivates an open-minded jazz nourished by musette, pop and improvisation. He has performed in duo with Émile Parisien as well as leading his own ensembles, where his precise and supple playing seeks dialogue rather than showmanship. His accordion, at once rhythmic and lyrical, invites bridges between repertoires.

On stage, these two worlds intersect naturally, between folk pulses and jazz lines, for an evening conceived in the curious spirit of the festival.
