Pablo Mira returns with a third show whose title still eludes him, and that’s the starting point of Pablo Mira Is Still Looking for the Title of His Show. The comedian probes what drives him crazy in everyday life: those little annoyances that pile up, nibble away at patience and eventually lead to an overpriced therapist. He gets things off his chest, but broadens his aim to current trends he struggles to keep up with—even labeled HPI (high intellectual potential)—which put his self-control to the test. Between confidences and deliberately disingenuous asides, he strings together therapy-room scenes, dissections of absurd conversations and carefully controlled derailments. Running through it all are his neuroses and his very personal way of sabotaging what still works, for a blunt, observational stand-up that is both abrasive and incisive.
