On April 18, 2026, Le Makeda in Marseille will host Dynamite Shakers, a garage-rock band from Vendée making its way on the French scene. Built around a raw, direct sound, the group draws on the rock roots of the sixties and gives them a contemporary spin, delivering short, taut songs that are direct and uncompromising. Distorted guitars, a tight, driving rhythm and vocals up front: Dynamite Shakers opt for a no-frills garage-rock approach that preserves the genre’s urgency and confrontational edge. On stage, the band strings songs together with no downtime, favoring choruses that stick in the head and breaks that kick the machine back into gear.
