Alexis Le Rossignol « Le sens de la vie »

Alexis Le Rossignol draws his stories from everyday life and those grey areas where nothing seems to happen, yet where everything is decided. In Le sens de la vie he starts from a memory of a horse named Sans plus and from a desire that wasn't really one, and unfolds accounts from a human-scale perspective. He mixes storytelling with small “fridge-door” philosophies, stringing together short scenes, digressions and those questions we normally avoid. What are we doing with our lives? How do we make our choices, our renunciations and the little pirouettes that keep us standing? With a calm delivery, precise writing and a slight off-kilter tone, he sets the scene and then twists it just enough.

On 11 April 2026 at the Théâtre La Gaîté Rive Gauche in Paris, he unfolds this new set like opening a notebook: personal fragments, field observations, absurd micro-logics and muted confidences.
