The Stranglers will be playing at Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on 30 November 2026 at 7:00 PM. Formed in 1974, the British band performs a punk-rock repertoire featuring classics such as “Golden Brown,” “Always The Sun,” “No More Heroes” and “Peaches,” as well as tracks from their album Dark Matters, released on 10 September 2021. During their most recent tour, the band reworked certain elements that have been added to the songs that marked their career.
The band has had 24 singles and 18 albums reach the Top 40. Forty years after their first hit, “No More Heroes,” they continue their journey. In October 2024, the band celebrated its 50th anniversary.
