Tony Ann, a Canadian pianist and composer, discovered musical composition at an early age while watching the documentary Beethoven Lives Upstairs. He pursued intensive piano training and chose the instrumental path, where he sculpts spare themes, employs precise technique, and shapes nuances that speak without words. Spotted on YouTube by The Chainsmokers, he joined them on keyboards for a major U.S. tour and co-wrote several tracks before returning to his solo career. During the COVID period he produced a succession of compositions published online that found an expanding audience worldwide.
