Info
Charles Doré has been carving out his path since Star Academy, where many first noticed his deep timbre and his way of letting vulnerabilities surface without forcing them. Originally from Brittany, he writes songs about departures, returns and those moments when everything feels unsteady. From “Je pars mais je reste” to “Si demain tout s’arrête,” he builds a stripped-back French pop—melodic and focused on voice and words. On stage he favors interpretation, the tension of silence and a gaze that holds, supported by a band that serves the songs without weighing them down. On 8 April 2026 at La Cigale in Paris, he will present his signature pieces and unreleased material in a set designed for the venue, balancing spare arrangements with more intense surges. It will be an opportunity to experience the blend of fragility and intensity that runs through his music: a direct, unvarnished presence where emotion is conveyed through authenticity rather than showmanship, and to follow a singer-songwriter as his world asserts itself on a major Parisian stage.
