Info

On April 25, 2026 at Théâtre le Rhône in Bourg-lès-Valence, comedian Elena Nagapetyan takes the stage to recount her journey with a frankness that is unmistakably hers. Born in Uzbekistan and raised in Russia, she arrived in France at 22, married after a Tinder date, became a mother, and then divorced. Between postpartum depression, a variety of odd jobs and a few cockroaches showing up at the worst possible moments — her fears and her choices are laid out on the table. Not to seek sympathy, but to put everyday life back in order and laugh at the things that sting.

Her show follows a woman who owns who she is, even when she has to manage the park with her son and a hangover. She talks about freedom, and about language too: telling her life in French, a language she has made her own, is her way of bringing the story to its end. Direct and straightforward, she says what she thinks and lives as she pleases, simply. On stage, she turns traces of the past into material for laughter and looks straight ahead.
