Thibault Cauvin

Thibault Cauvin opens a new chapter with an album made up entirely of original works and a tour conceived as a journey, combining acoustic precision, carefully crafted lighting and restrained staging. His classical guitar finds new freedom, words take a more prominent place in the repertoire, and the whole project builds bridges between eras and territories. On stage, he cultivates the moment and closeness—the shared instances when the music flows unfiltered. This long-running project takes a particular form on 21 April 2026 at MeM Rennes.

A highly awarded French guitarist with 36 international distinctions, Thibault Cauvin has performed on stages in over 130 countries. Raised equally in the classical tradition and on his father’s rock sound, he brings together diverse audiences and has pursued numerous collaborations, including a recent duo with -M-. His curiosity has also led him to writing, with the publication of his first novel, Alter Ego. This concert is part of that creative momentum—both free and precise—presenting a personal repertoire that continues to invent itself in the present.
