Papooz

Papooz is back on stage: the duo of Ulysse and Armand, drawn to a tropical pop flavored with bossa and a taste for the American seventies, will play La Maroquinerie in Paris on April 1, 2026. With supple guitars, swaying rhythms and light harmonies, their music unfolds a precise nonchalance carried by the groove. They compose songs with a pop backbone and a recognisable vintage grain, balancing softness and momentum, and have developed a sound that works as well in the studio as in the energy of a live show.

After La Cigale in 2024 and the Olympia in 2025, Papooz return in a club format to present Resonate on stage as well as tracks that marked their early years. Ulysse and Armand alternate sunny arpeggios and swaying bass lines, shift from a West Coast riff to a bossa ballad, and let the melodies tie everything together.
