L'Héritage Goldman 2

Led by a collective of singers and musicians, L’Héritage Goldman revisits the world of Jean-Jacques Goldman with L’Héritage Goldman 2. Under the direction of Erick Benzi, a long-time collaborator of the singer-songwriter, the project brings together complementary voices and a strong ensemble to explore both Goldman’s signature hits and the songs he wrote for others. The intent is clear: to present this repertoire live, with contemporary arrangements that remain faithful to the original spirit, in a spirit of transmission.

On the programme, the songs he offered to some of the leading voices of the French scene sit alongside his own successes. Included are “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” (for Céline Dion), “Il me dit que je suis belle” (for Patricia Kaas), “Si tu veux m’essayer” (for Florent Pagny), “L’Envie” (popularized by Johnny Hallyday), “Aïcha” (for Khaled), and many other Goldman classics. Each song is reinterpreted by the collective, alternating solos, harmonies and choral moments.
