Caroline Vigneaux « In Vigneaux Veritas »

On April 14, 2026, Caroline Vigneaux is at the Cité des congrès in Nantes. A former lawyer turned comedian, she has traded her courtroom robe for stand-up drawn from the language and codes of the bar. She tells the story of her career change, unfolds memories from law firms and hearings, and sets them against everyday life. Between a personal plea and social observation, she tackles law, power dynamics, the place of women, and those words that structure our lives without our noticing, turning legal files into accessible, concrete stories. On stage she plays with objections, counter-arguments and silences to establish a highly oral rhythm, close to verbal sparring. No knowledge of the Civil Code is required to follow along: she slips in legal concepts, points out flaws and contradictions, and then uses them as comic material. The show reveals how a jurist moves from the courtroom to the microphone while keeping a sense of precision and a taste for storytelling.
