Olivier de Benoist returns with a show built around a very simple obsession: how to find happiness when family enters the equation. After believing he had found it by becoming a husband and father, he turns his domestic mishaps into material for sketches—between mock confessions, tongue-in-cheek defenses, and well-placed barbs. He examines the couple, the children, the daily compromises, holidays that go awry, the principles we bend, and the occasional temptation to escape the clan. His throughline: subverting the adage “for a happy life, live discreetly” by fantasizing about a retreat far from his wife and children, a way to push the idea to its limit and probe what, deep down, truly soothes us. With unabashedly disingenuous humor and a knack for detail that hits the mark, he paints a self-portrait of an overwhelmed forty-something who always ends up questioning himself.
