Alex Cameron arrives in Paris for a concert at the Bus Palladium on October 23, 2026. The Australian, who cut his teeth with the electronic group Seekae, has built a solo project in which synth-pop and a nocturnal soft rock drive a highly narrative approach to writing. In his work, songs unfold like short films: a deep voice in the foreground, measured tempos, slightly lost characters, and stories told in the first person, between late-night bars, precarious jobs, and lingering illusions.
From Jumping the Shark to Forced Witness and Miami Memory, he refines this blend of catchy choruses and details that hit home, without letting go of his taste for storytelling. More recently, with Oxy Music, he leans toward softer textures, always propelled by synths and discreet melancholy. On stage, the energy comes as much from the singing as from the arrangements, often reinforced by Roy Molloy’s saxophone, for a set that is both direct and highly narrative.
