On August 8, 2026, G Flip arrives at The Mod Club in Toronto with the Bed on Fire Tour. Born in St Kilda and based in Melbourne, the Australian artist first made a name for themselves as a drummer and backing vocalist before launching their solo project in 2018, writing and producing from a home studio.
On stage, everything revolves around the rhythm: live drums, punchy synths, and clearly crafted pop choruses, straddling the line between indie pop and pop-rock. Discovered with ‘About You’ and then ‘Killing My Time,’ G Flip quickly crossed Australia, notably via SXSW, before confirming with About Us (2019). Drummer (2023) then pushed the needle toward a more upfront, more rock-oriented sound, centered on live performance. With Dream Ride (2025), the spectrum widens again, without losing the restless energy that defines the project’s signature.
