Nosfell draws inspiration from his family history. His show is built with polyphonic singing and dance.
Born of memories inherited from his father and from a recent journey to Morocco, where he reconstructed the singular story of his grandmother, Nosfell's project unfolds his imagination in a place where all would be milk-siblings. Presented at the Auditorium Seynod in Annecy, Frères de lait follows Le Corps des songes (2019) and Cristaux (2021) and is part of a cycle of works around an imagined world and language.
The klokobetz, a syllabic form that colors a large part of his musical repertoire, infiltrates the dances and music of this creation, alongside the Berber language, a term that refers to 'barbarian', 'one whose language is not understood'. With this show, Nosfell seizes this designation that formerly excluded the Amazigh people from Moroccan culture, to give it a voice of the intimate.
