On October 25, 2026 at La Gaîté Lyrique (Paris), Chanel Beads comes to defend a repertoire where pop becomes hazy and slightly off-kilter. Behind this New York–based project, Shane Lavers develops writing that is at once fragile and precise, between lo-fi dream pop, hypnagogic textures, and discreet sound collages. His album Your Day Will Come, released in 2024, plays precisely with the ambiguity of a title that sounds like a promise as much as a question: certainty can quickly crack, a detail of intonation is enough to tilt the meaning. On stage, this tension translates into songs with unstable contours, a voice often in the background, and arrangements that drift between intimacy and abstraction.
In the opener, urika’s bedroom unfolds a more stripped-down formula, guitar at the forefront and slow moods. Based in Los Angeles since 2018, the project moves between indie rock, dream pop and slowcore, with deliberately vaporous production. Revealed in 2023 with 'Junkie', urika’s bedroom has since hit the road alongside Youth Lagoon, Nourished By Time, Chanel Beads, or Perfume Genius, and brings this tender, somewhat abrasive atmosphere to a bedroom-scale setting.
