A guilty yet indispensable pleasure: to end the year with joy, lyricism and amusement, conductor Hervé Niquet and soprano Marie Perbost invite you to a festive and eclectic evening where opera meets operetta, jazz and music hall. Between arias by Gounod or Offenbach, jazzy melodies by Gershwin and popular songs by Édith Piaf or Colette Renard, the music is celebrated in every form. The program brings together famous composers with timeless hits and others less well known. In this invitation to take pleasure in all genres—from the grand repertoire to the popular, from classical to jazz—Hervé Niquet conducts an ode to the love of music and the human voice.
