Dea Matrona return to Warsaw with new material and energy that works best live. The Belfast-based duo, Mollie McGinn and Orláith Forsythe, has emerged from a blend of classic rock, indie, and pop, but without museum nostalgia: for them, what matters is a catchy riff, a distinctive vocal, and a tight, well-coordinated sound that you can hear from the first bars. They began by singing together on the city’s streets, and their cover of Fleetwood Mac’s 'Oh Well' quickly spread online, opening the door to their own singles and increasingly larger stages.
After their debut album 'For Your Sins' (2024), recorded in a DIY spirit and deeply rooted in live performance, the band has continued to move forward. Now they are promoting the fresh album 'Hate That I Care,' and it is with this repertoire that they will perform on March 5, 2027 at Hydrozagadka in Warsaw. Expect a tight performance: guitar-driven, melodic, and without unnecessary flourishes.
