Info
On March 26, 2027, Villagers of Ioannina City will descend on Metropool in Enschede for a show where rock and tradition collide. The Greek band has been building its own universe since 2007: psychedelic passages, heavy guitars and rhythms that keep pushing forward, but also the sound of Epirus permeating everything. Clarinet, bagpipes and flute are not relegated to folklore on the sidelines; they go full in dialogue with the electric wall and open up the tracks.
Those who know the band from Riza hear how old folk repertoire and modern rock organically interlock, while Age of Aquarius broadened the sound and made it bolder, pushing them toward international stages. Live it's less about standalone songs and more about a shared flow: build-up, tension, trance, and a set that sweeps you along as if it were one long trip.
