Info
On May 2, 2027, Chasing Abbey bring their hybrid sound to Ulster Hall in Belfast. The trio, formed by childhood friends from Tullamore, has built its identity around a tight mix of hip-hop energy, pop melodies and dance-ready electronic production. On stage, their songs are driven by rhythmic, straightforward beats and hooks made to stick, with a back-and-forth between melodic vocals and rap flows that keeps everything moving.
Their writing stays close to real life: relationships, nights out, and the small social tensions of growing up in Ireland. Since breaking through with self-produced tracks and early Irish radio support, they’ve kept sharpening that balance between singalong choruses and punchier verses. More recently, they’ve also slipped in nods to Irish tradition, reshaping familiar melodic lines into club-facing tracks, like on “Oh My Johnny (Banks of the Roses)”. Expect a set that moves between urban pop, melodic rap and flashes of folk-coded melody without losing the pulse.
