Info
On March 9, 2027, Kashus Culpepper brings his Southern-rooted songs to Jazz Cafe in London. Raised in Alabama, he pulls from country, blues, soul and a touch of rock, with that kind of writing that leans on plainspoken storytelling rather than big production. He first found his voice in church as a kid, then took a different route: during a Navy deployment in 2020, he picked up a guitar, started shaping his own material, and came back determined to play it live.
Since then, Culpepper has built momentum the old-school way, working bars and small rooms along the Gulf Coast before his name started circulating further, from the Southern circuit to Nashville. Expect a set that lets his deep, husky vocal do the heavy lifting, moving between classic country forms and rhythm-and-blues inflections, with the focus kept on the song and the groove.
