Info
On April 6, 2027, Villagers of Ioannina City will perform at Le Marché Gare in Lyon, presenting their Epirus-infused psychedelic rock. The Greek band has carved out a distinctive identity, where heavy guitars and stoner grooves rub shoulders with traditional instruments such as the clarinet, bagpipes, and flute. A dense, hypnotic sound that moves through crescendos, looping riffs, and bursts of trance, never letting go of the thread of a living folklore. First unveiled with Riza and subsequently confirmed by Age of Aquarius, the quintet quickly rose beyond the underground to bring this fusion to European stages. In concert, everything hinges on tension and communion: primordial rhythms, psychedelic flights, and the sense of witnessing something physical, almost ritual, closer to a collective experience than a mere rock set.
