Info
Ocean Grove will play the Garage in Saarbrücken on March 2, 2027, bringing their 'Odd World Music' to the stage: a mix of nu metal, hardcore and grunge with a distinctly 90s drive, living as much on alternative metal as on pop edges and hip-hop details. Originating in the suburbs of Melbourne, the band, fronted by vocalist Dale Tanner and featuring drummer and producer Sam Bassal, has established itself as a flexible collective—and you can hear this mobility live when heavy grooves meet electronic textures.
By now, at least since the debut album 'The Rhapsody Tapes', Ocean Grove has stood for dense sound and heavy rhythms, without getting stuck in nostalgia. With 'Flip Phone Fantasy' and 'Up In The Air Forever' they have further opened their range: catchy choruses, angular riffs, suddenly airy melodies and synthetic atmospheres alternate. In Saarbrücken, this will be a set that swings between intensity and catchy hooks, yet comes across as cohesive.
