I nearly titled this show 'The Pleasure.' Then I told myself that the only pleasures one might think of in front of a title like that would be pleasures forbidden to anyone under 18. However, for financial reasons, I want those under 18 to be able to attend my show as well. So I named it 'Delicious.'
In an hour and fifteen minutes, I will try to untangle the complexity of what provokes pleasure in human beings. Of course, pleasure can come from a glass of Chasselas that we let linger along the lakeside in spring. But it can also be triggered by the death of someone we do not love. Of course, an unexpected promotion within the company brings joy. But also the pleasure of eating Gruyère in Gruyères, or the fact that, when you are French, you do not pronounce the 'z' in Étivaz, which allows you to delight in correcting everyone who makes the mistake.
My objective is that this show provokes in you a certain pleasure, in a mise en abyme as delicious as eating Gruyère in Gruyères.
